Bio

Erik Garland is a retired Chief Information Officer for a small healthcare group in Kentucky and professional firearms instructor. A liflelong fan of tabletop role playing games, fantasy novels, science fiction and many other geeky things, he attended an early Gary Con (A convention celebrating the life and accomplishment of E. Gary Gygax, The creator of Dungeons & Dragons) where he met and became friends with the lovely and brilliant Heidi Gygax. Erik and Heidi married in 2023 on a lovely beach in Hawaii with only their two daughters, the officiate and a wedding crashing sea turtle in attendance.
Heidi Gygax grew up around the gaming industry as the third child of E. Gary Gygax. From a young age, Heidi and her siblings worked for TSR at Gen Con game conventions, and later full time in the Gen Con department, at the Dungeon Hobby Shop, and in Sales & Marketing. After 30+ years in Hawaii working as an executive for a large fine jewelry manufacturer and retailer, Heidi and her husband Erik Garland have been collaborating and creating while raising their two daughter and several fur kids.
